Best trimmer for pubic hair? (must be available in the UK)

I'm looking for recommendations about specific models / brands, but also types that work well (e.g. ceramic blades?) I can't seem to find trimmers specifically for pubic hair (for a woman, if it matters). I don't know if I can use head-hair clippers or a beard trimmer. (I don't want to shave using a razor, as this makes me itchy. I want to trim, but the closer the trim the better.)

I had one shaver with metal blades that seemed to start catching hairs after maybe three or four uses. I don't know if these can be replaced but I'm quite disappointed.

Beard trimmer. You don't need something specifically for pubes. It'll be fine, I promise, and you don't even need a very good one.

No idea if this is available in the UK, but I use Schick Hydro Silk Trimstyle Razor with Bikini Trimmer. I never actually use the razor, just the trimmer. Works in the shower, which is great. Battery lasts a long, long time. Adjustable lengths, too.

I use a regular beard trimmer, and if I had it to do over again I'd get one with guards (which mine does now), but that's it. Keep the blades oiled to keep hairs from snagging (from slow blades).

I suggest whatever the UK equivalent of the Wirecutter budget pick for beard trimmers would be. You can leave the guard off for a close trim. Just, uh, be careful.

Beard trimmer! With guards, and yeah, a wet-dry rechargeable is really nice for doing at the tail end of a shower.

For a fairly close trim, Braun SilkEpil9. It's a depilator, but I mostly use the shaving action, and the trimmer attachment works very well. Rechargeable like an electric toothbrush - it has a stand it lives on and a single charge is more than enough to shave all over. Can be used underwater too.

I've had a Shavy Femini for several years and I'm very pleased with it. You do need to take it apart to clean it every now and then but it's easy to do. Batteries last well. The Cleancut is also good if you want a really close shave.

I only use my beard trimmer in the traditional fashion, but I'm chiming in to note that (a) I got a cheap one and (b) it works FINE, and has for years.

I have for years used the 1/8” guard on hubs’ generic head/beard trimmer. Nothing special required, though there are so many guards I did mark “mine” with a spot of nail polish for quick ID.
