Help me find this hat (or one like it)

I bought the brightly colored knit hat linked below at the Albuqurque Balloon Fiesta in 2013. It's my favorite hat, and I lost it. :-( Can you help me figure out what style it is and where I might get another one like it? I'm not planning a return trip to Albuqurque anytime soon. Here's a photo of the hat.

Try searching Etsy for handmade multicolored knit hats for women.

Response by poster: Thanks. I had some luck on Etsy looking for alpaca beanies, although nothing is nearly as great as my old hat. What if I wanted something nearly exactly the same? Where might I find someone to knit a new one?

Contact the Balloon Fiesta '13 organizers and see if they can put you in contact with the vendor you bought the hat from

I think the suggestion of contacting Balloon Fiesta's organizers is great but I have also just discovered that if you do a web search for 'knitting to order' you do indeed find business that will knit something just for you. What a wonderful world we live in.

This TINKUY Alpaca beanie from Peru is almost it.

Attempting to contact the organizers of an event like the Balloon Fiesta and finding the original vendor seems like a good idea, unless you’ve actually ever been to New Mexico. I can’t imagine you having any luck with that approach. Source: I live in (and love!) New Mexico.

FWIW I have a very very similar hat in darker colors. My sister bought it in Peru. It has no labels; Memail me if you'd like me to get more info from her about where she got it.
