Seeking extra-small dildo

Question about sex toys for the anatomically nonstandard. Details within.

For medical reasons, my vagina is quite small and has a lot of rough scar tissue inside.

(I know “I’m really small” is something people sometimes say when they’re actually freaked out about sex or they actually have vaginismus or for other reasons. Please trust me that I have medical confirmation it’s literally true in my case, and respect my decision not to have it surgically or otherwise “corrected.”)

I really enjoy penetration, but don’t have room for more than a finger or two. To fit, toys would have to be way smaller than the usual dick-sized stuff, and ideally would be smooth (that grippy silicone texture grabs my scars in a bad way). My dream toy would also vibrate in a g-spot-oriented way, but I’d be happy enough with a toy that didn’t.

Where might I find the teensy insertable vibe of my dreams?

Smooth-on has all the materials you need to make your own. You may want to also try Friendly Plastic.

Maybe butt plugs would work better since they tend to be smaller? Something like this?

The word you may be looking for which would help your Googling is "bullet" There are a view varieties of "vibrating egg" that have smoother outsides and some of which have remote controls which might be useful for g-spot stuff. They're also cheap enough that you can try them out. I'm usually partial to the silicon ones so don't have personal recs but something like this or this would be where I would start looking. They're inexpensive enough that you can try a few out. I also wasn't sure from your question if your size concern is width, depth, or both. Butt plugs are great for deeper penetration on a narrow scale, though a lot of them are silicon. There is this "classic butt plug" which is also made in America which might work well.

I think you want a Vesper, which is a metal vibe about the size of a finger that is classy enough to wear as a necklace (!)

You may want to look into glass or stone. I've seen quartz ones that look much smaller. Often called "massage wands". Here's one on Etsy. "Bullet vibrator" is definitely another term as pointed out above.

Try searching for words like "slender" and "tulip".
Also, might putting latex overtop (finger of a glove, condom, etc) help with texture?

There is a (nonrepresentational) insertable toy called a Silk, with the small being about the circumference of a thumb. (Most definitely smaller than the human appendage; even their medium is a little smaller than one.) It's a very smooth silicone and downright slippery with a little lube applied. A possible option?

On the theme of stuff marketed for butts, toys for prostate stimulation are often smaller and have a bent tip that vibrates. aka "p-spot"

Another option: Pink Rotar by ToysHeart. I got mine from J-list.

The Crystal Wand (non-vibrating but curved for g-spot stimulation) has a .875 inch diameter.

Goodvibes.com has a whole category of less-than-1-inch diameter vibrators as well.

Lots of great answers here. It doesn't seem like you are super keen on the DIY route but I want to caution that materials like Friendly Plastic are not meant for internal use. There are kits from reputable companies who use body safe plastics/silicones/materials for this purpose if you do want to experiment with making something (which could be fun and dare I say empowering??)

It won't vibrate, but you might look online for a dilator. I got one for $20 from a cancer treatment center. I know that's not particularly sexy, but they're designed to come in different sizes and be completely body friendly.

It can be a bit unwieldy, and the vibration won't be as strong, but you can touch (or glue?) a vibrating toy to the base or another part of a non-vibrating toy to get the non-vibrating toy to vibrate. This might give you more options.

Perhaps peruse toys designed for anal penetration/ prostate stimulation? They tend to be less girthy and come in different shapes/ conformations.

I know that the description for this says that it's "large" sized, but I have one, and it's approximately the size and shape of my index finger (I have average-to-small sized hands). Many of the negative reviews are people complaining that it's too small. I bet it'd be perfect for you.

I don't have a specific rec but there are quite a few people making wood toys that can custom make things to spec.

Dildos: Dilator kits. They come with a range of slim smooth dildos and you can choose the one that's comfortable for you.

for vibrators, I have a Jimmyjane Little Chroma that's probably slightly thicker than a finger, vibrates nicely and is made of smooth metal. Would recommend. They don't seem to sell it directly any more but you can still get it from other sex shops that still have stock, it seems.

Hiya! Officially, I think a tulip wand is what you want. Unofficially, I would point out that throw a condom over it, and anything can be a dildo. The electric toothbrush is the slimline, vibrating go-to gold standard in that department.

Orchid G -- Very similar to the tulip that a few have recommended, but it curves slightly at the tip, which is important for g-spot stimulation. I had one and when it stopped working after a few years, I bought a second. ;)

Also, a metal one like the Pure Wand, might work too. Click on the pink image -- it gives dimensions.
