Sourcing abrasives in the UK or EU

I'm looking for a manufacturer of abrasives. Everyone I can find in the UK is selling bonded abrasive products - sanding discs, cutting wheels, that kind of thing. I'm trying to find a source for the raw abrasive in powder form, before it gets made into a product.

Any leads or thoughts gratefully accepted, because right now I'm out of ideas.

Depending on the quantities you need there are several varieties of abrasives available in large volumes for media blasting.

Yes, you could also look for garnet, carborundum, etc powders used for "sand" blasting. My hazy memory is that these should be available in small ish quantities.
