Scrolling Effect in Firefox on Android

When I scroll down the page in firefox on my new android phone (a samsung note 8), it has a screen effect where it puts some shadowy arcs along the right hand and bottom side. I have no idea how to turn it off or even find out if that's possible. It's only firefox and seems to be any website. Where can I find help on this?

Does this happen whenever you scroll, or only once you hit the bottom of the page?

Response by poster: I get the effect every time I thumb the page up or down and the page stops. It doesn't matter whether the page has reached the end of possible scrolling; from the top to the bottom every time the scroll stops moving the edges bow in.

I suspect that this is a Samsung thing rather than a Firefox thing. I've checked Firefox on both of my (non-Samsung) Android devices and while they have an arc at the top or bottom when you reach either end of the page, I don't see anything but a (very) subtle scrollbar on the right side while scrolling.
