What's this music?

What is this piece of music? (1.5 MB MP3, twiddly Moby-ish instrumental, though I don't think it's him).

It was used at the start of today's Hollyoaks, so ignore the melodramatic teen mumbling on the MP3.

Best answer: It's Clubbed to Death by Rob Dougan. Funny you should bring up Moby; as said in the Wikipedia article, the album it's on is about as licensed as Moby's Play.

Err - Isn't that the one that is the lead into Eminems song as well? Sounds a bit like it.

It's on the first Matrix soundtrack too, which may be easier to find than the original. That's where I first ran into it.

Response by poster: It was recorded from top British teen soap Hollyoaks, which is set in a small university, but somehow someone dies/is murdered/raped/pillaged just about every week. This particular scene was over a series of flashbacks.

zsazsa: There's nothing licensed more than Moby's Play. :)

(I believe his album has the distinction of being the only album to ever have ALL of it's songs licensed for advertising.)
