Suggest Web Hosting (Windows)

I don't know much about Windows servers, but I need to arrange for web service with the following requirements:

- Windows
- IIS 7.0 or higher
- EntityFramework 6.0 or higher
- .NET framework 4.5
- SQL Server 2012

It does not matter if the machine is dedicated or virtual or if it is shared with other sites/applications

FWIW, it's to serve a CMS.

Can anyone suggest a hosting service that can fit this bill, with good newbie customer service (i.e. they'd apply all patches/upgrades on their end, and hold our hand if something goes wrong in future)? We'll have expert help setting up our installation, but we won't have our own help going forward.

Response by poster: Also, we'll need SSL.

I've been using Vultr to host my windows server that uses everything you've mentioned for the CMS I wrote for my website. No complaints. Although I'm not sure what level of hand-holding they do as I've been able to do everything I need to to do myself. They do seem to have very extensive FAQs on their website.

As for SSL, been using Lets Encrypt cert with Certify to manage them. Very easy to use UI. Select your site and hit a button more or less.

Be aware that a pure hosting provider is not going to touch your CMS or your operating system unless you pay for a managed service. Search for "managed name of CMS." If you need both Windows and CMS support, you might also look at larger, established web design companies that also host CMS installs.

Response by poster: Thanks to both.

kpraslowicz, Vultr doesn't do managed service. They have a sister company, choopa.com, which does, but only with dedicated servers at $69/month (for way, way more bandwidth and resources than we'd ever need).

cnc, Vultr does seem to permit CMS self-managed, fwiw. Also, we don't need support of the CMS itself, just the service thereof.
