Differences between iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE in the car

I used to use an iPhone 6s Plus in my Camry, connected by Bluetooth, and everything worked great. Then I sold my 6s Plus and bought an iPhone SE and things do not work as well, and I'd like to know if it is just a difference in the phones.

So, you know how Siri has two sounds: the lower pitched DOOT DOOT when activated and the higher pitched DEET DEET that comes after you have finished taklking?

With the 6s Plus, when I used "Hey Siri," I heard the DOOT DOOT and the DEET DEET through the car's speakers. However, the iPhone SE seems to connect more slowly, so I only hear the DEET DEET, which means the request has timed out.

Is this just a difference in the processing power of the phones, me setting the SE up incorrectly in the car, or something else?

Thanks, as always, for your help.

Best answer: I don't know why the Bluetooth is being sloppy but you don't need to wait for the doot doot. Just keep speaking your request after "Hey Siri" and it will buffer it for you.

Response by poster: I can't believe it was that easy. I did exactly what you said, Talez, and it worked. Problem solved. Thanks so much!
