Plain white (or undyed) family pajamas... do they exist?

My wife is trying to make costumes for Halloween and wants to find some cheap family pajama sets to embellish. The problem is there doesn't seem to be anywhere that sells simple cotton pajamas without patterns or frills. At best we have found heavy (and pricey) fleece pajamas and plain long johns (which are too thin and underwear-ish). Does something like this exist?

Best answer: Maybe look at scrubs instead? I think they tend to be poly or poly-blend, but white, no-frills is definitely doable.

Best answer: I can't help with adult sizes, but Primary.com has baby and children's sizes in white. Great quality, so not as cheap as you might need. First time orders usually have a 20% discount right now.

Best answer: You can buy dyeable white pants & tops at Dharma Trading Company. They also have adult clothes. You might want to call & see if they could ship it in time, though; I know they were affected by the fires and were catching up on orders.

I used to make my son's Halloween costumes and always used sweatpants/shirts as the base. Light gray is easy to find. Target and Sears seem to have white sweats.

For adults I would try a search for "lounge pants" (and then just white t-shirts). Amazon has several options for both men and women in "white lounge pants"

When I have seen people do similar things, they sometimes do it with long underwear (waffle weave) and.or union suit type things.

You can look at white painting coveralls. You can get them in fabric or paper - which are very cheap.
