What is the easiest method to transfer Google Sites to new Google Sites?

What is the easiest method to transfer Google Sites (soon closing down) to New Google sites?

I have five Google Sites; several are quite extensive. What is the best way to transfer all the material on these sites to the New Google Sites?

A second question is: What do you think of the future of Google Sites? At some future date, will Google eliminate them entirely?

FYI I think Google calls the old Sites "classic Sites".
