What's the most ergonomic device and method to write on a hybrid laptop?

I've got a Samsung convertible laptop which comes with a tiny S-pen. Writing for any length of time with the included stylus causes all sorts of wrist and hand problems and I wonder if anyone could recommend an aftermarket stylus that's particularly ergonomic. Also wondering if there's some particular technique that helps.

You have to be sure your laptop is at the proper height, so you are not lifting your hand up to it, to write. You might want to review how you learned to write, and read up on the ergonomics of handwriting style, to see if you need a refresher. You might need a pad that wraps along the front edge of your laptop to support the heel of your hand, and your wrist.
