Successful application of Scrum?

I may be one of the few people who enjoy bid management and fundraising. I am good at documentation management, procurement, recruitment, and development. However, I am looking for ways to be a better manager of campaigns and people where we may only have a few weeks to a month turnaround as well as managing the larger scopes these programs fall under which can last multiple years. Would Agile/Kanban/Scrum master training would be a good way to get these skills? Is there a way to understand discipline differences better for their applications?
