"The Vietnam War" transcripts?

Are transcripts from the Ken Burns series "The Vietnam War" available anywhere? I've looked all over but maybe I'm missing something. I find it hard to believe they don't exist.

I don’t know about transcripts, but there is a companion book.

The DVD for sale on Amazon says it has English subtitles. There are many tools to extract subtitles available.

Best answer: If you're looking for something searchable but not very pretty, you could always download the subtitle files. SRT files are just text files with time code added, so you can change the extension to TXT and open it in your text editor. (note: this wouldn't include the translated Vietnamese speakers as they're already translated on screen so an additional subtitle wouldn't be necessary.)

From everything I've read, the companion book is terrible, a badly produced doorstop tossed out for an easy extra profit. I think bluecore's solution is the best you're likely to do.
