I want a large screen displaying Google and Outlook calendars--cheap!

I have a 24" by 18" paper calendar on my work desk showing me a whole month of stuff, but for some reason, I can't get it to automatically sync with Outlook and Google.

Like it says on the tin. My office uses Outlook for calendaring. I use Google for personal calendaring and tasks management. At work, I have a paper calendar that I use to track appointments and due dates. Not sure how I got into that habit, but I really like being able to see the whole month at a glance.

However, I hate reconciling paper calendars. I need something, anything, that will sit on my desk and show me the monthly calendar with Outlook (MS Exchange) and Google (whatever they use) on it. This could be

* a big Android tablet
* a monitor connected to...something
* an all-in-one

It can't be an extra monitor connected to my work computer, because it already has the maximum number of monitors connected. I don't even need it to have a keyboard or mouse once I get it up and running.

Oh! And I need to spend less than $100 on it. More than open to buying used, refurbished, eBay, craigslist, using any flavor of Linux or whatever... I am handy with tech.

You may be able to use a USB monitor for the purpose (the AOC e1659Fwu is in your price range but I have no idea if they're any good).

Otherwise you might be able to find a 10" Android tablet at that price point that will work. Is 10" big enough for your purpose?

Maybe get a thrift shop monitor, a google chromecast, and cast the tab of your calendar.

If you need both outlook AND google, not sure a chromecast would work.

You could pick up a Raspberry Pi (new ones might come w/ built in wifi, or you'd need a dongle, or direct to ethernet) and a Cheap monitor with hdmi input.

To make it more automated, you could build a custom kiosk type linux that automatically boots and opens the two calendars, perhaps also situating them (on the screen) correctly and maybe set them to auto-refresh at some interval you specify.

Depending on where you work, they might have to approve a device connected to their network.

Also, perhaps there is the possibility of adding more monitors to your current computer if you bought the required adapter or Daisy chain? I don't have advice but know newer display port and probably HDMI can handle multiple streams per output

How about building a DakBoard, or other "magic mirror" project?

Extra monitor, Raspberry Pi, and some work.

I sync my work outlook calendar to my Google calendar to the free version of Gsyncit. My work calendar items then sit alongside my Google Calendar items. You can display them as two calendars alongside eachother if you like also, but i combine mine. It has a monthly display option, that you put 'full screen' on any android tablet of your choice.
