Silent alarm for mac desktop

I need an app that will provide silent notifications at a given time.

I work via teleconference and need an app that will notify me when time is up with a visual notification, without making a sound. I need an alarm, but I don't want the client to hear the notification.

There are a million alarms in the app store, which makes it harder to sort through to find one that can function silently.

Any alarm app can function silently if you set the alarm sound to be a sound file containing silence.

I think you should be able to do this with the calendar app. Create an event for time you want to be done and set it to notify at the time of.

Howler is a great timer app in the Mac App Store. You can turn sounds off in the preferences and select if you want the app to come to the foreground or send notifications. I think the free version has all this, but if it doesn't the "Pro" version is only a couple of bucks.
