Weird channels showing up in my Youtube feed

Lately I've noticed that strange/unwanted videos pop up in the Recommended section of my youtube feed, and sometimes my subscriptions as well. How can I stop them from showing up?

These aren't just videos that I'm not interested in watching; they all have clickbaity/spam titles, are often in a foreign language, and come from the same channel. I can't seem to remove them the usual way (by hovering over the three dots and selecting "not interested"). If I refresh the page they usually disappear, but if I leave the youtube tab and come back they sometimes appear again, a moment after I come back to the page. I've done some Google searching and haven't found any satisfying answers as to why these videos keep coming up and how I can get rid of them. Here's what they usually look like in my feed. I'd appreciate any advice on how to deal with this problem.

You might check out your viewing history on YouTube to see if you inadvertently clicked into a video from this site at one point, confusing YT into thinking it was one of your interests. You can delete stuff from your history and that might help what it opts to suggest going forward.

Best answer: You should check your Google account activity and see if anyone has been logging in to your account from an unusual device / location.

I get random stuff in my recommendations fairly often, and I don't worry about it. If it truly is showing up as a subscription, that's more concerning. Can you just unsubscribe from that channel, if it's always the same channel?

If you're subscribed to something you didn't subscribe to, or are seeing stuff in your viewing history that you didn't watch, you may have a problem. Did you give away, lose, or sell a device (tablet, cell phone, or set top box) that would have had your YouTube account configured on it? Have you logged into YouTube on any shared devices, or devices in a shared area (like a Roku or AppleTV that other people would have access to)?

The videos in the Recommended column will have the title below a thumbnail frame. On the far right of the title are three vertical dots. Click on that to show a menu and select "Not Interested". Hopefully you can teach youtube what you don't want to see.
