The delightful "Land of Chocolate" and similar pieces...

Can someone point me to the musical style or genre presented in the piece above, as well as similar music? I get a very strong 50's vibe from it and need more of the same.

Best answer: A very similar tune (maybe just a different arrangement) is on "Space Capades:Ultra Lounge 3", together with all sorts of 50s cheese. The track is called Gay Spirits.
Amazon has a preview clip available.
I have the album, this stuff grows on you.

I've always known this genre as 'light music' ("What is light music?").

Best answer: I just watched "Century 21 Calling" last night, and man, it's chock full of this kind of music. I was watching the MST3K version and they called it "Ren and Stimpy" music.
