PDF Duplex Printing Failure
I'm at my ropes end troubleshooting PDF printing. Acrobat Pro 7 absolutely fails duplex printing. I understand the preferences dialog and the "Flip On" parameters, no problems there. Acrobat simply refuses to play. The only help I found on their website was a document about an old Illustrator version failing duplex printing - it suggested you distill a PDF from a PS file. I attempted that creation method as well, no dice.
I downloaded FoxIt Reader and, low and behold, it does print duplex succesfully. However, it takes ages to print multiple copies of these documents. I haven't exactly compared the cache sent from Quark with that of FoxIt, but it seems as if the printer is reprocessing the data for each new copy.
Printing from Quark I can key in 20 copies and the printer loads the document and hums away untill they are entirely spit out. This PDF method takes a long pause between each document, creating an absolutely unacceptable amount of wasted time between each copy.
The PDF files are generally well under 1MB, printer is an HP 8100DN. I loath Quark, and this is the last step before we kick it to the curb. Help!

Collates multiple copies as intended. Ugh.
