Help me find clever facts for vegetable-themed bingo.

I'm calling bingo at a community garden fundraiser event. I'd love to have some vegetable-adjacent facts for each bingo number that I could relate while calling. For example: "Next number is B2! Vitamin B2 is riboflavin, which is found in spinach!"

Silly/non-sciencey/punny lines are also fair game, so long as they're entertaining and somehow related to vegetables and/or gardens.

Just as a reminder, the standard numbers are as follows:
B 1 to 15
I 16 to 30
N 31 to 45
G 46 to 60
O 61 to 75

G-55, that's G for garlic and for Gilroy, California, the garlic capital of the world!

I-16, I-17, I-19, and I-27 are interstate highways that don't actually cross any state lines, which is kind of fun but not really vegetable-related.

Do you want the facts to include the letter and number, or is just one or the other ok?

Best answer: Ooh, you could get some of your N combos from fertilizer labeling! Apparently ammonium nitrate fertilizer has an N value of 34, for instance.

Response by poster: nebulawindphone: ideally both, but certainly at least the number. Just the letter on its own is maybe not as helpful.
