What happened to Elsa?

Where can I find a list of the names of the people who died at the Grenfell Tower fire - and what happened to the little girl named Elsa? [Warning, possible child death below cut]

When the fire was still blazing, the NYTimes ran a story describing the scene outside of the fire. There was a woman there screaming for her daughter "Elsa" who was lost and possibly still in the building. I can't stop thinking about this, it is really distressing to me. There was no name of the mother listed or a last name of Elsa or any other descriptors that I can remember. I haven't found a list of the names of the victims of the fire, but I really want to find out if Elsa was ok.

I realize this is a strange (and extremely disturbing) question and I recognize that other children did indeed die. For some reason, this particular scene really upset me. Can you help me figure out if Elsa made it out?

The police are reluctant to release names but the most comprehensive crowd-sourced list I am aware of was at (currently the list has been removed at request of the residents but they may respond to personal requests)Grenfell Tower Data

This google doc has some information, but bear in mind, it specifically states that there are errors.

I understand how certain things stick with you. I have been haunted for years by an AskMe post made by UniversityNomad.

Your profile doesn't say where you are. But if you're not in the UK you may not be aware that there is ongoing contention around the official number of people missing presumed dead and the estimates made by many people, including residents' groups, who suspect it's much higher. The spreadsheets linked by the other answerers are unofficial attempts to work out who was in the tower that night and who is missing.

Best answer: I keep thinking there must be a reason no one else has posted this, but BBC News have a page listing all the people who have officially been confirmed as dead or missing. They say they'll update it as more identifications are made.

Response by poster: Thanks to you all. Checked, there is no Elsa listed.
