Selling a 2014 Macbook Pro

I am planning on selling my Macbook Pro to pay for some car repairs. I have looked at Gazelle and Phobio. Does anyone have any experience with these companies? Is there a better company I haven't found?

Best answer: Gazelle worked great for me when selling an iPhone a while back. You just walk through the online thing that tells you how much they'll give you, then they ship out a really nice box with simple instructions on how to pack your stuff, and you drop it in the mail. They didn't need to make any adjustments or anything to the offer after seeing my phone, so that was pretty much that. Way easier process than I was expecting.

Best answer: You can also sell Macbooks at Swappa. I have used them for buying and selling phones, and they have a good system.

You'll make more money selling it on Ebay, though that's more inconvenient.
You might also look at Ebay Valet.

Best answer: Gazelle fucked me on my last iPhone sale. Maybe it was an honest mixup on their end, but they refused to entertain the notion that it could have happened on their end, so they returned "my" iPhone, which was not the iPhone I sent to them.

If you're going to sell with Gazelle, make sure you document the entire packing process, preferably in a continuous no-edits video that shows the serial number of what you pack, you sealing the package, and you dropping the package off to the USPS.

Best answer: Gazelle has been flawless for me on three iPhone sales and a 2010 MBP sale.

I sold a phone on Swappa, and it was a surprisingly nice experience. I'd certainly consider it for a computer. ebay has such a terrible interface that I just didn't want to deal with it!
