Help me drive google drive on my iPad

I was planning on using google drive on my mac book, and my iPad. This is only useful to me if I can make whole folders available offline on the iPad, without having to go through and mark each individual file to be available offline.

This is something you can do easily in the iOS dropbox app, you just mark a folder and then it syncs the folder and its contents, and is available offline.
Is this possible in google drive for iOS?
If its not possible, is apple cloud drive the next best option. I want to move away from dropbox.

Response by poster: p.s. I have already tried to google for an answer, but just ended up confused.

It looks like you can, but only for individual files. I couldn't figure out how to make entire folders available offline though (and I strongly suspect it's not possible). Here are some simple instructions.

Also be aware that Google Draw docs aren't available to edit on the iPad at all.
