Conservative version of "On Tyranny"?

I read and loved "On Tyranny" by Timothy Snyder. Is there a partner book that is directed towards Conservatives or people who might support Trump?

I loved how succinct and apt Snyder's book was. He conveyed his ideas in a clear and concise manner without becoming overly verbose.

The book was obviously critical of Trump and his Mussolini 2.0 tactics. Is there a book that is similar in style to Snyder's book that will help someone understand why people would believe that a person like Trump is actually a good President?

Best answer: The second edition of Corey Robin's The Reactionary Mind: Conservatism from Burke to Trump is gonna do more or less this in historical context (from a left perspective), but it's not quite out yet.
