Portuguese puppets

In ~April 2007, I was staying in a room in a stranger's house in Porto. On the TV there was a show that I remember none of, except this: a bunch of female puppets (looked kind of like Janet from The Muppets in my memory, but memory is faulty etc) circling a black-haired male puppet in a suit (maybe on a pedestal?) saying, in sing-songy voices, "O, nosso líder!" What was this show?!!?!

This has bothered me intermittently for 10 years, apparently. It must be google-able, but not in English as far as I can tell...

It was probably an episode of Contra Informação, like this one. It was a political satire show, with puppets.

The puppet was probably Marques Pentes, alias Marques Mendes, a politician so dull and uncharismatic that calling him a great leader was itself the joke.
