Looks like borage to me but with a different flower?

Some kind of Lungwort, maybe? The Pulmonaria genus is a member of the boraginaceae, like borage. Poke around with that keyword if lungwort doesn't look quite right.

Could be comfrey too, just not the Russian hybrid I am most familiar with. Common comfrey?

It could be digitalis or foxhlove. So be careful with it. And comfrey is toxic to the liver taken internally.

Might be houndstongue, Cynoglossum officinale?

That looks to me like a Symphytum (comfrey). It's related to borage and lungwort, as all three are in Boraginaceae. Lungwort leaves have spots, though.

It is definitely not a Digitalis sp.

That is definitely comfrey. I have some in bloom right now, which I transplanted from a disused railroad siding.
