Updating App Store Screen Shots

Can you add/subtract/rearrange App Store screenshots after your app is approved without also uploading a new version? If not, is it possible to "cheat" by simply updating the version # of the prior build?

You can only update the screen shots when you submit a new version.

I don't believe Apple has any test to verify that your new version is actually a new version, but I'd recommend making at least a couple of trivial changes in case they do some sort of binary comparison.

Our devs say it's a ton of work and annoyance to package a new version for release, so the trivialities of the changes aren't the issue....
