queen-sized daybed?

I'm looking for a queen-sized bed frame that has the "headboard" on the long side of the bed, so essentially a queen-sized daybed. I am having little luck finding this online! Metafilter, can you help me?

I'm also willing to DIY/cobble something together, but probably not up for anything too extensive. I'm into wood/metal rather than things that are upholstered in terms of aesthetic.

Is a Cal King headboard, long enough to to a side job? I remember day beds that do have a side head board, because the under mattress pops up to make a king or some such workings. I have looked about a king mattress is 76 inches wide. So the headboard would be a little wider. The queen mattress is 80 inches long. A king headboard might do the duty you want.

Have you searched "Queen-sized daybeds" on Pinterest? Sorry, can't link but there were some amazing ones.

IKEA has a number of daybeds that are usually twin sized but pull out to king. You don't have to pull it out all the way, you can use a queen mattress instead. try Helmnes.
