Classic google search page

Is there still any way to use google search without the new (i.e. post 2010 ish) fancy javascript & design?
I used to have a URL for some basic version of the page, but I have lost it.
I seem to remember that the simple javascript-free page I once had a link to was related to the custom site-search mechanism for webmasters; there was some API / backwards compatibility related reason for why it hadn't been modernised.
I'm not looking for noscript / other content filtering tools I can install in my browser, just something that behaves like the original search page used to.

If you want to go real bare bones, there's googler. You can at least turn off "instant search" here which will dejavascriptify things a bit and be almost like going backwards in time.
