There have been a number of Congressional Research Service reports on this topic. Unfortunately access to CRS reports is not straightforward, but the Federation of American Scientists has a searchable archive of some of them.

You could start here with a roundup compiled in 2014.

A 2013 report specifically about closing Gitmo.
