Seeking UK comedy routine 90s - uncle hypes up kids then leaves for pub

This was probably on a channel 4 comedy show, but there was a UK (English I think) comedian who did a routine about going to visit his nephews/nieces, and being the "fun, crazy uncle" while the parents were both tired. He would hype them up and then when they reached their peak he would "go off down the pub" or something similar, and hand everything back to the parents. I heard a weirdly similar routine recently.

Response by poster: Thanks, but nope, it's not Sean. It wasn't really a big-time comedian, just a sort of comedy club style late night show on (prob) C4. This is a very tricky question, I know. More early 90s than late.
