This larval unit was discovered under the stove top. What is it?

We need to know so we can eradicate them before they become more of a pest. Thank you.

It looks like a Carpet Beetle.

Yep, looks like dermestid beetle late instar larva or maybe pupa. Could maybe be a pupa of a pantry moth. See full UNL extension page here. For general tips on pantry pests.

Thank your lucky stars!! Definitely a carpet beetle, not a pantry moth. Oh, the dreaded pantry moth. You dodged a bullet.
