"Gentle Effect" screen on IPhone 6+

I cannot find this screen on my phone to send this message with my texts - what am I doing wrong or not doing at all?

Type in a message on chat. See that little blue up arrow on the right? Hold it down for a second. The page with send effects pops up.

Check Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion. If it's on, the extra effects in Messages won't work.

Best answer: Are you seeing the message "(sent with Gentle Effect)", or similar, when people send messages to you? If so, you will need to update your phone to iOS 10.
