Night life in West Palm Beach

Ms Wimp and I are spending two nights here (Saturday and Sunday) and are wondering what the best nightlife is that the area has to offer. We've heard about the Improv and the Blue Martini from the B&B host. Any other suggestions?

Best answer: I live here, but I'm not really a nightlife person. CityPlace (where the Improv and Blue Martini are) will have several other places with live music. Clematis Street is where younger people tend to go for restaurants and music. If you want to find live music throughout the county, Local Music Finders is a useful resource.

Sunday in particular will be pretty thin nightlife-wise. The big Sunday social event in West Palm Beach is brunch, and there are many choices, most of which offer all-you-can-drink Bloody Marys and mimosas.

Response by poster: Thanks, Daily Alice. We had a great time. We were staying at the Hibiscus and spent time poking around Clematis spots. The B&B had a great Sunday brunch at their bar/restaurant, and the staff were hospitable and entertaining to boot.
