My partner has come into some money. Can you recommend a financial planner?
My partner has benefited from a significant financial windfall (mid six figures), and is looking for a financial planner to help make the most of it. Partner is savvy enough to manage the basics, so the right planner must offer something beyond purchasing ETFs and re-balancing every once in a while – estate and tax planning, preparing for retirement, and other things of that nature.
Is there anyone you can recommend? Especially interested if you have worked with them personally.
