Identifying a Mexican mariachi trumpet/brass sample from an 80s song

The first 40 seconds of the song "Ecstasy" by The Wolfgang Press (1984) features a sample of a Mexican mariachi-style trumpet/brass piece. I cannot identify the source of this sample.
I do not believe it is an original composition, however I stand to be corrected. I thought it might be sampled from the soundtrack from "Rio Bravo", but it appears not to be.
Any ideas? (I am also interested in any music you know of which features a similar brass component.)

Procol Harum's Conquistador has a similar figure at the beginning and end

Response by poster: Both of those suggestions do capture the vibe I am looking for. Is there a particular name for what I'm enjoying about them?
Still hoping somebody somewhere at some point in the future can track down that sample.

That's not Mariachi, probably not Mexican. It actually reminds me a lot of the soundtrack from a spaghetti western.

Best answer: It seems like Paso Doble "bullfight" music

Response by poster: It appears that Paso Doble is the correct genre. I will continue this line of pursuit.
