Trying to ID a sneaky camera book from 1980-ish

Taking a wild swing: I'm trying to locate a book I had as a kid, likely published in the US somewhere between 1977 - 1984 or so, that featured instructions on how to mount & hide a 110 camera in a hardcover book.

Details are hazy to me at this point, but I believe it was a medium-sized trade paperback with a mainly white cover. I think it also had instructions for constructing a pinhole camera and maybe a few other spy-style items. I think I remember some basic darkroom setup instructions as well. Not much to go on! ...and clearly now is the right time for some 110 film projects.

This is probably not the book you're looking for, but the pinhole camera triggered this in my memory.

I thought I remembered this, but turns out I was thinking of a scene in Troop Beverly Hills.

Your question made me think of the Time Life Library of Photography Special Problems book, published in 1977. I had it in hardcover and remember buying a right-angle spy lens after reading it. Looks like it came in paperback too. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding more of its contents online.

Response by poster: Neither of those are the one I'm remembering but I'm adding them both to my 'find these used books' queue. Thanks!
