What on earth was this program?

I was recently, late at night, in a hotel watching random TV in a language I couldn't understand. Can you id the show for me?

I think this was a tv show, because of the format, but I'm not sure. It was dubbed into German so I didn't understand a word, but there was a lot going on visually.

It began with a black man and young woman in a car, who were clearly about to engage in romance. They were pulled out of the car by some angry looking men, but before said men could engage in violence, a grey demon/gargoyle person with wings descended and attacked the men, then the woman, bit her neck, then the man and woman went away.

I switched channels for a while, to find said woman strapped down in the lab in a spaceship, where people including a man wearing an outfit from the 50s were talking. Said man from the 50s then used a laser gun to shoot more of the demon things, but held fire when he recognised one of them.

There was also a scene at a hospital where the demons were attacking people. One nurse fled in panic, the other pulled out a staff and started doing kung fu.

The episode ended with some of the characters stranded as the spaceship flew off.

If anyone can confirm what this was and that I wasn't having a fever dream, that would be grand!

Best answer: Was the kung-fu nurse blonde? Sounds like it might have been this episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Response by poster: Yess! I didn't imagine it. TV is super weird with no context!
