How to remove a stuck wash plate from LG WT5001CW Washer?

I followed this Youtube video to the letter. Once that little bolt comes out of the center the wash plate is supposed to lift right off. This one doesn't. I have tried to pry it off, I gave it a gentle whack with a rubber mallet... nope. I have closely examined it and there are no other screws or bolts. Anyone have experience removing one of these?

While I don't have direct experience with this particular model, I have found in the past that they sometimes have a retaining clip behind that nut. It would be small and not easily seen. Other than that, a guess would be the shaft is bent just enough to make lifting it difficult.

Response by poster: I figured it out... I ran it through a wash cycle without the bolt, thinking that the damned thing would be shaken loose during the spin cycle... and it happened well before that. Hope this question helps someone else!
