Do you have a contact for a taco truck for hire in the Chicago burbs?

We are having a party for my wife's birthday in the western suburbs and I want to get a taco truck/cart for the food. I can find lots of Mexican food caterers, but google is failing me on proper taco trucks/carts. (It seems like most purveyors do not really have websites or facebook accounts or anything.) Do you know a guy?

Google turned up this article: Chicago Food Trucks. There's a couple of tacos trucks - or similar foods. There's a link on there for contacting them about catering.

There's also this list, though it's from 2013: 18 Chicago Food Trucks.

Good luck. :)

Roaming Hunger is a food truck catering website that has a Chicago subsite. You can use them to get food ideas, find contact info for specific trucks, and also possibly directly cater through Roaming Hunger. I'm trying to use that feature to arrange food truck catering in Los Angeles and haven't found it that intuitive so far, but it's worth a try. And, again, even if you don't use them as a liaison, the site is useful for finding and contacting individual trucks.

I don't have a direct recommendation, but a friend of mine recently did a bike ride organised by Pedal and Spoke which used taco stops as the checkpoints - maybe they could recommend somebody?

Green Go Gourmet is a taco truck based out of Glenview, I can attest to its deliciousness. My nephew's birthday was catered by them for a bunch of picky, foodie Cubans who loved it, so you know they're good! I'm not sure how far they go, but memail me if you want to use my name in saying how great you heard they are!

I've had La Cocinita and they are excellent. They come to a convention I work at every year.

You also might want to try La Adelita because they seem to do rentals.

Good luck!
