What would you have done differently if you'd known you'd never marry?

There are a lot of "What should I have done/known in my 20s, 30s, 40s" etc. posts on here. I'd like to know what people who expected to partner up, but ultimately didn't, wish they had done or not done earlier in life.

I'm interested in answers as broad-picture as saving for retirement, child adoption, end-of-life planning, and home ownership/renting to things like traveling alone, learning more housework skills, etc. Do you wish you had consciously spent more time and effort developing friendships, an absorbing career, pet ownership, whatever?
