I'd do anything for glove

Seeking warmish gloves that extend to the mid-forearm for a long-armed dude.

We live in Vermont, where it will get very cold very soon. Last winter, Mr Earthtopus found an awesome pair of warm-ish gloves at an LL Bean or Eddie Bauer outlet that went down to his mid-forearm. This is especially exciting because he has very long arms, meaning that most "long sleeve" shirts or sweaters don't reach his wrists when his arms are outstretched, and a longer glove means great coverage in cold weather.

The gloves have been misplaced and I am looking to get him a new pair.

They were some sort of black synthetic material (not knitted/wool), thin rather than puffy, and I cannot find them or anything like them on the LL Bean or Eddie Bauer websites, or even anything similar on Amazon or Moosejaw. They do not need to be super duper warm, since he has a much hardier pair of gloves that he switches to once it gets below 30.

Any help would be much apprecated!

You're looking for Gauntlet style gloves

I have these gloves, they are quite nice and long enough to cover the wrist.

Here are a few that look possible:
- Ussen men's flight gloves
- FLOSO Thinsulate gloves
- Sealskinz waterproof gauntlet gloves

You could consider knitted wristwarmers to cover that cold gap, putting less pressure on mitten selection.

These LL Bean Polartec liner touchscreen gloves hit most of your points and have a somewhat long cuff, though not a super-duper long one.

Response by poster: Hmm, the liner gloves are on the right track. Gauntlets, while almost long enough, are quite wide - and usually not thin/flexible. I swear these things went down to about 6 inches below the wrist, and were snug all the way down.

Thanks for your help so far!
