trying to remember something from the 80s. help?
i can't believe i'm wasting a question on this, but since the bugs me once every few years, here goes.
i vaguely remember this from my childhood, which would have been 1981-1992 or so. i think it was on tv, either a movie or an afterschool special. it involved a kid getting in a very large (tractor?) tire and rolling down a large hill (possibly with a lot of dry grass), and maybe hitting some large rocks on the way down, becoming severely injured or dying as a result. pretty sure tv, don't think it was a book.
does anyone remember this at all, or am i bonkers?

Response by poster: wow. weirdly, i think this was it. i have no idea how i would have seen this movie - i grew up in a small town without a lot of tv stations and went to a private school without a lot of resources. this is pretty impressive.
thanks!

I looked up the actors and it turns out there was a 2011 movie made about the lives of the two boys in e Lollipop. A Million Colours.

Answered there as "It looks like the movie was titled "E-Lollipop" aka "Forever Young, Forever Free" and was released in 1975." Trailer.
