What's the name of the song that Richard Tee demonstrates here?
It sounds like he may say the title of it just before he begins playing, but I can't make it out….I know I have heard a long solo piano version of what seems like an old doo-wop song, beginning with exactly the same chord vamp.

Just My Imagination by the Temptations? He's playing it a bit slower, tho.

Best answer: It's Gonna Take a Miracle. Original by The Royalettes, and covered by Deniece Williams. (Clip in your question is from 1984, and the Williams version is from 1982.)

Sounds similar to the bass line in Something He Can Feel from the movie Sparkle. And also made popular by En Vogue.
