What's the name of the piece playing in the first half of this video?

Question title pretty much sums it up. What's the piece? Who's the composer?

Generally safe for work; some crude humor, but nothing overtly offensive. Your mileage may vary.

Reminds me of parts of Messiaen's Quartet for the end of time, but I'm not positive.

I don't recognize it, but the instrumentation is wrong for it to be the Quartet for the end of time (also I think it's too tonal). It sounds like a regular string quartet.

Sounds like the slow movement of a late Beethoven string quartet. I can't pin it down right now, but you could have fun listening to a few on YouTube until you find it...

I went through all the comments, which were incredibly repetitive, and though the question "Song?" was asked over and over, there was no answer given.

I went through all adagios of Tchaikovsky's, Borodin's, Dvorak's, Grieg's and a bunch of Others's's string quartets but didn't find it, but that's what I'd recommend doing. It's not Beethoven (or I'm missing something really huge), seems nordic or slavic late romantic in style, or a rip-off of that style from later times.

One of Shostakovich's quartets?
