PC fighting game from the 90s?

I'm looking for the name of a specific PC fighting game from the 90s.

This is for a friend, so the details are few. From the best we can tell it was a 2D, versus fighting game set in space. It was available for PC sometime between 1994-1998. He seems to remember one of the characters being a Praying Mantis. Any thoughts? Bonus points for links to screenshots and/or more information. Thanks.

I was an OMF addict also -- that was the best thing there was. I played the shareware version quite possibly too long, even so that when I got the full version, I pwnt everyone with just the jaguar or shadow.

I was totally thinking of the fire-bot on OMF when praying mantis was mentioned, until I saw the screenshot of FX.

Yep, OMF addict. Katana had such a cheap fireball if fully unlocked.
