Tahoe City Dive Bar

I'm going to a wedding in Tahoe City CA next weekend. I'll have some time to kill. What is the absolutely shittiest, diviest, bar in Tahoe City? Is there one? The sketchier the better!!!

Tahoe City is on the California side. To get to div-y bars, you probably want to head for the casinos on the Nevada side, definitely on the North Shore. The South Shore is all fancy and stuff.

If there's no place that's div-y enough for you at Tahoe, you could head to Reno. It's not far.

BTW, this is not shitty, div-y or a bar, but if you're in Tahoe City, don't pass up the opportunity to get buckwheat pancakes at the Fire Sign cafe. They are the best I've ever had.

Nothing too divey in Tahoe City. The only remotely dive-ish places are Pete & Peters and perhaps the Bridgetender - neither of which are really dives. There's always the Tourist Club in Truckee, that might be closer to what you're looking for.
