Mexico's jersey in World Cup 2006?

What jersey will Mexico be wearing in World Cup 2006 and how soon can I buy it?

I'm familiar with the mostly solid green home jersey that Mexico has had for the past few years (sometimes listed as '04-'05 or '05-'06), but I am wondering if Nike is producing a new jersey for Mexico '06-'07 and/or a special edition jersey for Mexico's appearance in the World Cup. (They had a great jersey for WC '98 with an Aztec watermark, for instance, before their sponsorship by Nike.) Most of the Adidas-sponsored teams already have WC '06 jerseys available for purchase, but Nike is slow so far, and I have no idea where they stand on redesigning Mexico's kit.

I have found some soccer forums that discuss '06 jerseys, but no mention of a redesign for Mexico. (And the FIFA World Cup official store sells the solid green jersey as Mexico's "national team jersey" but does not specifically label it as World Cup or '06 as it does for other countries...)

Any clues on this MeFi soccerites? I would really like to purchase whatever jersey Mexico wears in WC '06 to give as a gift for a diehard Borgetti fan! Thanks in advance.

Best answer: Doesn't look like it's been released yet. Keep an eye on the Kitbag World Cup 2006 site. Kitbag is running nikefootball.com's shop, so my guess is that they'd be the first to have it in stock.

Best answer: Update: Mexico's WC/06 jersey has been released and it is now available for pre-order/purchase at most soccer outlets online.
