Tattoo artists in the City of Angels?

Similar to another recent question, who are some fantastic custom tattoo artists in Los Angeles / southern California?
I'm a recent transplant to LA from NYC, and while this city is certainly rife with tattoo culture, I'm without quality leads. Any tips as to excellent custom artists, shops? Favs in NYC include Scott Campbell, and Eli Quinters.

Lindsay Carmichael, at Laguna Tatoo in laguna beach (www.lagunatattoo.com.) Amazing with color, creative, decent guy...very well respect. He's done five of mine.

Kim Durham, who works both out of her private studio in downtown L.A. and at Prix on Sunset, is great. Mini-portfolio here.
She's done 3 of my 4 tattoos (the 4th was by another artist I recommended in the NYC thread) and does beautiful custom work.

There's a well-respected celtic / tribal tattoo artist in Santa Barbara named Pat Fish. I got my own tattoo there and am happy with it.
