Songfilter: "Woke up this morning with my mind stayed on Jesus. Hallelujah."

This should be an easy one, I think. A few years ago I heard an mid-tempo rock arrangement of this old gospel tune on KEXP but haven't been able to track it down (I tried asking a couple DJ's there, no luck). It sounded a bit like Stephen Malkmus, both in how the guy sang and in the way that the guitar followed the vocal melody exactly. It wasn't Stephen Malkmus. Can you give me a hand?
