Spin Spin Spin Songs for the Road

What are your favorite cycling spin songs? I'm heading out for a 150 mile bike ride this weekend and need to beef up my playlist with stuff that makes big wheels keep on turnin'.

I have a workout-inspiring playlist that's really excellent for long rides. It's pretty wide ranging in style. For example:
  • Foo Fighters - The Pretender
  • Britney Spears - Work Work (radio edit of Work B***h)
  • Miscellaneous Mashups
  • Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - American Girl
  • Skrillex - Bangarang
  • The Crystal Method - Trip Like I Do
Now I'm asking for MOAR. The playlist hasn't been significantly updated in more than a year and I'm at a loss for new great I-want-to-ride-faster-because-of-this-music music. Lyrics need to be safe for public airspace. Help me Metafilter, you are my only hope.

Backstory: 2 years ago I asked this question regarding gear for playing music on a bicycle. I've been rocking a belted up pair of Goal 0 Rock Out Speakers alongside a Sansa Mp3 Clip clipped to my bike shorts to great effect since then. The tunes are publicly blaring alongside hundreds/thousands of other cyclists, so lyrics should be Rated PG at worst.

I am not sure from your question... do you want to range more widely, or do you want more songs like the ones you list?

My goto for getting into a zone is the Philip Glass album Glassworks. It was written for a ballet company so has tempos for movement.

Response by poster: do you want to range more widely, or do you want more songs like the ones you list?

What I meant to say was that all genres are welcome. I'm looking for your favorite songs to spin to.

I don't bike with music but when I'm really pushing against the wind or climbing a hill, here are two songs I play in my imagination:

Rob Zombie - Dragula
Behemoth - Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer

Best answer: In my opinion, these would all be perfect if they came on mid-ride, with a big group of people riding to them. Please enjoy!

Queens of the Stone Age - "No One Knows"
alt-J - "Left Hand Free"
Tanlines - "Green Grass"
Metronomy - "The Bay"
Cut Copy - "Where I'm Going"
Arcade Fire - "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)"
The New Pornographers - "Sing Me Spanish Techno"
Sigur Ros - "Gobbledigook"
TNGHT - "Higher Ground"
Röyksopp - "Happy Up Here"
JR JR - "Gone"
El Ten Eleven - "Fanshawe"
Nine Inch Nails - "14 Ghosts II"
Kylie Minogue - "Can't Get You Out of My Head"

My standard answer for this kind of question is: Almost all of the Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense.

Well, these are kind of old school, but I like them. I remember once back in the days of 55MPH, Radar Love came on, I reached over to turn the radio up, and when I looked at the speedometer again I was already doing 75.

Golden Earring Radar Love.
Kenny Loggins Danger Zone.
